* Until Saturday may 17.
* At 10:00 am Saturday the stage was 15.4 feet... and falling.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 15 feet.
* Forecast... fall below flood stage by next Friday morning.

... Flood Warning now in effect until Thursday afternoon...

The Flood Warning continues for
the Rock River at Moline.
* Until Thursday afternoon.
* At 9:30 am Saturday the stage was 12.0 feet... and steady.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Forecast... hold steady around the flood stage through Monday before
rising again. Forecast to rise to 12.1 feet Tuesday morning. Fall
below flood stage Wednesday morning.
* Impact... at 12 feet... water affects residences near the 27th
street bridge.

the Rock River near Joslin.
* Until Thursday morning.
* At 9:30 am Saturday the stage was 12.4 feet... and falling.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 12 feet.
* Forecast... fall below flood stage Tuesday evening.
* Impact... at 12 feet... water affects low lying agricultural land.

... Flood Warning now in effect until Friday afternoon...

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Rock Island ld15.
* Until Friday afternoon.
* At 8:00 am Saturday the stage was 15.2 feet... and falling.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 15 feet.
* Forecast... fall to flood stage by late Sunday afternoon... then
start to rise again to 15.2 feet by Tuesday morning. Then projected
to start falling again Wednesday... making it below flood stage by
next Thursday morning.
* Impact... at 15 feet... water affects several sections of south
Concord street south of River Drive in Davenport and is at the
foundations of several homes on Enchanted Island. Water also
affects industries along the river at the south end of Davenport.

... Flood Warning now in effect until Sunday may 18...

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Muscatine.
* Until Sunday may 18.
* At 9:00 am Saturday the stage was 17.1 feet... and steady.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* Forecast... fall below flood stage next Friday afternoon.
* Impact... at 16 feet... water affects the lower portion of the
Riverside Park parking lot.





Areal Flood Watch

... Flood Watch in effect from 10 PM CDT this evening through
Sunday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has expanded the

* Flood Watch to include portions of Illinois... southeast Iowa
and northeast Missouri... including the following areas... in
Illinois... Bureau... Carroll... Hancock... Henderson... Henry IL...
Jo Daviess... McDonough... Mercer... Putnam... Rock Island...
Stephenson... Warren and Whiteside. In southeast Iowa... Des
Moines... Henry IA... Jefferson... Keokuk... Lee... Louisa... Van
Buren and Washington. In northeast Missouri... Clark and
Scotland.

* From 10 PM CDT this evening through Sunday afternoon

* 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected tonight through Sunday
morning. Locally higher amounts are possible. This could bring
renewed river flooding... and possibly isolated flash flooding
to the watch area.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts. Monitor later forecasts and take action if a
Flood Warning is issued or flooding develops.





Wind Advisory

... Wind Advisory in effect from 2 am to 6 PM CDT Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 2 am to 6 PM CDT Sunday.

.Northeast winds are expected to increase after midnight and
reach sustained speeds of 25 to 35 mph. Winds gusts of 45 to 50
mph will be possible. The wind will become more northerly by
Sunday morning and shift to the northwest by Sunday afternoon.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 mph or greater are
expected... which can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution if you are traveling.
