Additional information...

NWS storm survey confirmed a tornado touched down briefly
near the intersection of palimino and 13th street approximately 2
miles east of Carthage. Numerous trees were uprooted... along with
powerlines blown down and outbuildings destroyed. Time of event
estimated. Winds were estimated between 90-100 mph and rated an
EF-1.
